Over the years, I have written a substantial amount of articles, features, reviews and interviews covering a wide range of subjects. I am allowing these to be used elsewhere online and in print, for a small licence fee. This fee will be dependent on the type of publication using the piece, how long the licence is to last for, and whether it is for a single piece or a collection of work. All licences are subject to the conditions set out in this page, and before an agreement is concluded, confirmation of your acceptance of the licence terms will be necessary, and payment should be made in advance of the pieces being used in any way. All of the work licenced will still remain my copyright, and notices declaring such should be present on any pieces used. I will retain the rights to continue to use these pieces myself online or in print as I see fit, but I will only permit one licence holder to use a piece at any time. Put succinctly, when you sign a licence agreement for a piece, you will have the exclusive use of that (in addition to myself) for the duration of the licence period. The prices for licences are generally negotiable, and will vary depending on the intended usage, the time involved, and the nature of your organisation. However, the prices below will give a rough guideline for the use of one-off articles for a single intended destination: Single item - print magazine, single use - £20 Single item - online use, 3 month licence, commercial - £10 Single item - online use, 12 month licence, commercial - £30 Single item - online use, 3 month licence, non-profit - £5 Single item - online use, 12 month licence, non-profit - £15 Use of my articles does not imply endorsement of your publication or website in any way by myself, and the licence will be revoked immediately if you make any attempt to state this. You may not sub-licence the work to other publications or websites, and should you be responsible for a number of titles, please note that the licence is linked to a specific publication so the work may not be used elsewhere without an agreed change in the licence terms.
