Auto Assembly: Target 2006

Attending Auto Assembly: Target 2006 - What To Do On The Day

Updated 30th May 2006

So you've already booked your ticket for Auto Assembly: Target 2006 or you're planning on coming along on the day but what do you do next? There are a few simple steps to follow that will help us speed up processing your admission to the convention and to minimise any fuss or confusion.

On The Door Places - Tickets Available

While This year is the most successful Auto Assembly yet in terms of pre-bookings, we estimate that we will have approximately 100-120 on-the-door places available for those of you wishing to attend who have not already booked.

Arrival - Queues

When you arrive at the Clarendon Suites, you will notice that there are two queues. One is for pre-registrants and the other is for those attending on the day. Each will be clearly marked and make sure you are in the correct queue. We must stress that you should arrive as early as possible if you intend to book on the day to avoid disappointment if we have more people attend than the number of places we have available.

Entry Times

Doors open at 10:30 am for pre-registrants and 11:30 for on-the-door attendees.

Registration Process

Once the doors open, pre-registrants should report to the Registration Desk. You should hand over your confirmation slip to one of our staff and they will then hand over your pack for the day. This will contain a programme of events, and other information sheets as well as an answer sheet for the quiz and - if you are fortunate enough - a ticket giving you entry into the Transformers consultation event taking place. Most importantly, the pack will contain your pass for the convention. This must be worn at all times. You can get a ribbon free from the Registration Desk or buy a custom Auto Assembly lanyard for £2.50. After this, you will then be given your goodie bag and we expect the whole process to take around 1-2 minutes.

For on-the-door places, while you queue you will be given a form to complete with your name and address details (for our heath and safety records) which will allocate you your ticket numbers. Hand these to our staff who will walk along the queue and once the doors open at 11:30 you will be processed in the order the forms have been completed. Once we reach our cut-off point of 500 attendees, we will not hand out further forms to people in this queue.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
